I would like to change the style of my crafted Armor without changing my outfit. I am not referring to changing the racial style, such as ‘nord’ or ‘high elf’, but I want to change the specific look of the Armor from ‘nord style 2’ to ‘nord style 4’ when I craft the item. Simply select the character you wish to change and then select the Appearance Change Token icon. Appearance change allows for complete modification of the character’s appearance, including but not limited to hair styles and colors, adornments, face and body markings, facial features, eye color, age, body and face shape, and voice. Since it was confirmed by @ZOSGinaBruno in a different thread that an item appearance change system is in the works, I'd like to start some discussion to see the community ideas on that system. Dear developers, for the love of all your wonderful helmets and shoulders, please allow changing appearance of all items, including monster sets. This means that an Outfit can override the style of your chest slot to look like a heavy armor cuirass, even when wearing a light armor jerkin or leather jack, but cannot make your feet look like they are wearing gloves instead of boots. This selection and appearance persists while the Outfit is active even, if you change your equipped armor.

Polymorphs are cosmetic collectables which visually transform your character completely. They take precedence over all other cosmetic and equipment items. Polymorphs were originally classed as costumes.
