EDS file is an Electronic Data Sheets. It is the file that contains the information of attributes which are settable for the devices. EDS file will be used when a network is established using other configuration tools manufactured by other companies. The EDS files for MAC00-FC2/4 and the SMC75 can be downloa- ded from the Fieldbus Interface Specification Files menu.
